The Greenville Public Library
was founded in 1928. It is located in the former Greenville Academy building
which is listed on the National Historic Register.
Library Mission Statement:
The Greenville Public Library, using its resources and those of the Mid-Hudson Library System, is dedicated to providing information, materials, services, technology and programs to all community residents to meet their personal, educational, cultural, and professional needs. The Staff, Trustees, Friends Group and Volunteers are committed to enriching the lives of all patrons through lifelong learning opportunities.
